September 28 is Ask a Stupid Question Day! It seems like a silly holiday, but it’s of utmost importance to scientific discovery! In the 1980s, teachers created this holiday to encourage students to ask more questions in the classroom since they believed their students had many questions that could make interesting discussions, but they kept them to themselves for fear of being ridiculed. Come investigate the science behind some not-so-stupid questions, including, but not limited to: How do we know what we know?
Science Saturday Workshop prices ($20 per student) include the workshop and museum admission for the participating student. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must purchase admission upon entry ($15 per person). This is not a drop-off program, an adult must be present at all times. Science Saturday's are free for members.
