We are seeking energetic, engaged and thoughtful adults with a passion for learning and exploration. Teaching/education, museum and prior experience working with children a bonus, but NOT required. We will make every effort to provide you an opportunity that matches your interests and experience.

High School and College students may be eligible for course credit (subject to the rules/regulations of your institution). See our latest internship opportunities here.
High School Students: please review our guidelines and code of conduct here. All students under 18 must complete and sign a Student Volunteer Application.
Program Prep Volunteers: We provide instructor led programs throughout Long Island and need help prepping projects for those programs. Come in and help with simple prep items. Open to volunteers ages 11 and up.
Science Saturday Volunteers: Every Saturday we have an instructor led class on-site. Volunteers will help the staff set-up, assist the children taking the class and then assist with break-down. Open to volunteers ages 12 and up.
Weekend Museum Volunteers: Come in and volunteer to help out in the museum. Volunteers assist guests with using the interactive exhibits. Open to volunteers ages 14 and up.
