Delia Gibbs Memorial Fund

Mrs. Delia Gibbs was the founding director of the Long Island Science Center in Riverhead. Mrs. Gibbs was a leader in informal education and made the mantra of “bringing science to life” an essential part of all LISC programs. Her legacy of hands-on manipulation, seeing, touching, testing, and experimenting live on in all our current programs.

Sadly, Mrs. Gibbs passed away in 2023. This memorial fund will help continue her vision of preparing children to lead locally and compete globally. You can use the link below or mail a check to:
