Science Saturday: FLOATING - THE SCIENCE OF BUOYANCY

 Why do ships float? Density and buoyancy come alive with demonstrations and hands-on activities using a water tank. Students experiment with different solids and liquids for a concrete understanding of density. 

$20 per student (includes museum admission), free for members. Additional admission must be purchased upon arrival for any accompanying family members ($15 per person). Classes last 45-60 minutes.
